Corporate and event-week programmes are quoted per engagement. Any applicable tax is confirmed in the written proposal before payment.

Things that do not appear on your invoice.

  • Per-request fees. There are none.
  • Booking fees, arrangement fees, service charges. There are none.
  • Mark-up on villas, cars, restaurants, yachts or tickets. There is none.
  • Commission from suppliers. We do not accept it.

If a supplier offers us a commission, we decline it or we pass it to you as a reduction in the price. That is a rule, not a preference, and we keep a register you can inspect.

Why some services cost less than this.

Per-request billing.

A low annual fee with a charge attached to each request. The headline is small. The invoice at the end of August is not.

Request caps.

A membership that includes “up to twelve requests a year”. Count how many you would make in a single week in July.

A call centre.

A number that reaches whoever is available. You explain your file again each time. The person who knows your daughter is allergic to shellfish is not on shift.

Ratios nobody publishes.

A manager carrying sixty members cannot know sixty families. The client-to-manager ratio is the most reliable indicator of service quality in this market. Ask any provider for their ratio before you compare prices.

We will not be right for everyone.

We take twenty memberships a year, so we turn most applications down. We are a poor fit if you need a single booking rather than an ongoing relationship; if you spend fewer than about three weeks a year on this coast; if you want a service that will tell you what you want to hear; or if the value you are looking for is chiefly in supplier discounts, which we do not have because we do not take commission.

We are a good fit if you are here often, if you want one person rather than a department, and if you would rather know what things actually cost.

Twenty memberships in 2026.
